Google Buzz, on google maps / android / nexus one (& labs)
Google buzz is now on mobile google maps on android (also on iphone – though I can't find it on mine, suspect I need to update something). This was an update to v4.0.0 via the android market, the notification was there this morning, and I installed it on my train into work. Here's a quick walk though. Also i discovered labs is there now too. (though maybe i just had not noticed it before.) link to the buzz i posted: www.google.com hellonexus1.tumblr.com

Due to absolute impossibility for us to receive our money from Google’s Checkout account we have to unpublish our Android applications from Google Android Market and keep them only on alternative markets like SlideME, AndAppStore and Handango. We have to apologize for any inconvenience to all our customers but that is the real life. Not everything goes the way we want to.

Google announces licensing service for Android apps

Both Google and developers are probably unhappy with the current copy-protection mechanism that protects apps available in Android Market, so Google is releasing a new licensing service for applications. Created for all paid apps in Android Market (Android 1.5 or newer), the licensing service allows developers to “query the Android Market licensing server to determine the license status of their users.” Google plans to replace the current Android app copy-protection mechanism with the new, safer service in the next few months. More on Google’s new licensing service (including how to implement it into your apps) can be found at the Android Developers website
