Install Android 2.1 USB Device Driver on Windows 7 64 bit
Windows 7 64 bit has difficulty installing the current USB drivers for Android devices. You’ll need these to actually test Android applications on a phone.
Feel free to poke around Control Panel for an hour trying to force it to recognize the drivers sitting on your hard drive. It simply won’t comply.
Luckily there is an easy work around– install PDANet. You can remove the program after installation– it will leave the drivers behind.

Due to absolute impossibility for us to receive our money from Google’s Checkout account we have to unpublish our Android applications from Google Android Market and keep them only on alternative markets like SlideME, AndAppStore and Handango. We have to apologize for any inconvenience to all our customers but that is the real life. Not everything goes the way we want to.

Both Google and developers are probably unhappy with the current copy-protection mechanism that protects apps available in Android Market, so Google is releasing a new licensing service for applications. Created for all paid apps in Android Market (Android 1.5 or newer), the licensing service allows developers to “query the Android Market licensing server to determine the license status of their users.” Google plans to replace the current Android app copy-protection mechanism with the new, safer service in the next few months.
