Having purchased a Droid X by Motorola from Verizon on August 26, 2010, the “nice young man” that sold me the phone said it would be on it’s way by FedEx shortly. What he failed to impart was that his version of shortly involved a wait of 15 days before Verizon will ship it, due to lack of product availability. I keep saying to myself, I should have gone for the iPhone

Justin.tv has released an android app to allow recording live video from your phone however it would be nice to see a viewer app also released since only a few phones have flash. The Xperia X10 is the first android -powered mobile phone offered by Sony Ericsson hand. It has a large touch screen display (480 x 854 pixels 4 inches), which makes it a very good device for browsing the Web and also to view videos. It has a 8.1 megapixel camera with digital zoom up to 16x.

It’s been almost a year since I wrote about how I like Skype , and I noted some legal problems between the Skype founders and eBay, which bought Skype in 2005. Shortly after I wrote that, eBay completed the sale of the majority share of Skype to a private investment group (eBay kept 30%), and shortly after that , the investment group settled with the Skype founders: the founders got a 14% share and two board seats, and they dropped their lawsuits.
