Some early owners of the Motorola Droid X came close to hosing their devices, and in some cases actually did do so, when they first inserted their battery into the device. It seems to me that Google would be better off spending a bit of time enhancing their Android marketplace to make it properly useful. Using marketplace on my G1 is painful, not to say that using Apple’s app store on an iPhone is too much better, but at least you can access it via iTunes on the desktop which makes it workable, and the iPad version is fine to use as well, so perhaps marketplace on a tablet will work ok too
